To find Leads:
- Navigate to the Lead Finder tool through one of the 5 access points mentioned in the Overview article
- A search bar window will appear from the bottom of the screen (unless you have elected to access Lead Finder via the Map Search Bar - this will function as your search bar)
- Enter a keyword or phrase into the search bar to tailor your search to prospects of interest. This search can contain just a keyword or can specific location as well
a. ex: Manufacturers or cardiologists in Boston - If not specified in the original search, select the location where you would like to search for leads whether that is your
- Current Location - To search around your current physical location
- Another record - To search around a specified Account or Contact
- A different location - To search around a specific location (City, Postal Code, or State)
- Select area from map - To move around the map and search for leads
Note: Data populated by the Lead Finder tool will layer on top of existing MMC data. Use the entity toggles under the search bar to show or hide existing MMC records as needed. Lead Finder will use existing data Names and Addresses to populate the map with new leads.
To change your search location for Lead Generation:
When a search is run, a banner will appear along the bottom of the screen indicating where the search is looking for leads. Click on the banner to update the search location to either your a. Current location, b. Around another record or c. Around a different location (as described above)
To save Lead Finder searches:
Saved searches will allow you to save up to 10 keywords that can be quickly applied when using the Lead Finder tool. To save a search:
- Run a keyword search as described in the above directions
- When the map populates with suggested leads, click the Save icon in the upper right corner and confirm that you would like to save this keyword
- To use Saved keywords, navigate to the Lead Finder tool. Select the “Open saved Lead Finder searches” banner
- From the list, select the saved keyword you would like to apply to the Lead Finder search
Note: To remove a keyword from your saved searches, select the remove icon to the right of the keyword you would like to delete
